Music

I've been a musician for as long as I can remember. I started taking voice and piano lessons in elementary school and continued throughout college. Within that time, I participated in choral and band ensembles and attended music camps and workshops at Auburn University and Camp Sumatanga. When I was sixteen, I got my first job working as the assistant music director at Randall's Chapel Methodist Church in Scottsboro, AL. I continued this position until I graduated high school and moved away to Birmingham-Southern College, where I minored in Music. Since my graduation, I have continued to make music part of my daily routine. After finishing my MFA, I plan to open a private voice studio for children and adults who find they also have a song in their hearts.
